The coastal path highlights the historic and natural heritage.The part form Le Racou to the beach of l’Ouille crosses schist cliffs running through pebbly isolated shingle beaches called de Portells stairs carved into the rocks.

Beyond Argelès-sur-mer, the coastal path continues running from Collioure and Port-Vendres.

 Le Racou is a world heritage site selected by the community and the conservatory of the French Coastal Protection Agency to protect the scenic character

Tour de la Massane is also classified as nature reserve site, you will discover in a few hours the Mediterranean shrubland filled with the scent of flowers.

Catalan cuisine is often associated with the land and sea as the traditional « poulet aux gambas », (chicken with gambas) we often talk about our cuisine as « mar i munt » which translates Sea and Mountain

To the tradidtional preparations such as la Cargolada » are added « Boles de Picoulat », « L’Ollada » high quality gastronomical Catalan charcuterie products. Botifarres  little black and white sausages to be eaten raw or grilled, fat sausage with delicate flesh, dried sausages, « fuets » fine fresh and dried sausages, indispensable for barbecues.
